Totally agree with #17200. I stopped patronising all the stalls with rude workers as it ruins my entire day. School is already very stressful and facing rude F&B stall workers daily should not be a norm. So, I am here to give some recognition to stalls in SMU with great service (not in any particular order). 1. Fei Mao – The owner (I assume) will always ask if the drinks/food served is nice and ask for feedback. Can even special request for milo/ other drinks to be thicker/sweeter. Other drinks also tastes great and it is quite affordable. Skip the queue at koufu and buy from them. My favourite stall in SMU for drinks and snacks. (Heard that the owner is a student in SMU?) 2. Koufu Mala Store – The uncle at the stall front is always super friendly. Always ask his customers about their day and cheer them up. He even gave out sweets to customers during the Chinese new year (still ongoing i think) — super cute uncle. The Mala tastes quite gd and pricing is quite reasonable. Everyone should support them as they (uncle and his wife) go above and beyond. Hands down my favourite Koufu stall. 3. Canteen Bistro - Owners are super chill and friendly, and the food is decent for the price. Good if you want a place to chitchat and chill. Love the grilled chicken. 4. Tea Party - Nice aunties will only scold you when busy. They will even chitchat with you when there is no queue. My go-to when I'm at SOE. I just hope they can add some vegetables to their pasta, then it'll be perfect.
