Not only are we paying more for flats, but the quality of housing has dropped. Last time cement walls, now board walls, next time paper wall? I also don’t want to hear about easy to tear down etc bs. It’s expensive to tear down and rebuild to cement walls. Now wall so thin, can hear even when people talk / cough outside the hall vs old house that have thick cement walls. Gov say cos people want to tear down and redo partition? Really meh? Got stats to proof? Aso now house are getting so small. At least last time one room can fit cupboard, 2 single bed, 1 study table. At least last time chicken coop, better than now bird cage size. Think no one wants hdb size to be like Hong Kong. But we are progressing to become like that soon. We are staying in houses for 8-10 Hours per day x 7 days a week minimally, surely this is a priority. Don’t even bother asking people to have kids. For people who can only buy 2 bedroom. Really no place to put 2 kids.
