#12329: Annoying when friends just reply with smileys

I am annoyed at how shallow conversations seem with this particular friend. When she rants I try to reply fully and give her solution, when I rant she just replies with smiley faces and emojis adding nothing to conversation. Like wtf chatting with ChatGPT gives me better responses than this nonsense friendship where you obviously just seeking attention but when I need a listening ear, absolutely cannot be bothered. Are friendships really this shallow nowadays???
