Wait, what? I didn't know that Singapore salary surveys include employer's CPF contribution as part of salary? Graduate salary surveys etc don't. When you apply for jobs, salary quoted doesn't include employer's CPF contribution what. In fact, employer's contribution is not even part of gross salary. No wonder Singapore salary surveys always show inflated figures, like average salary in Singapore is 6k+ or something. What's the point to paint a rosy picture when it is far from reality? Feel like trapped working everyday like a dog.
