Hi, I am still considered new to the working world. I've graduated from Computer Science 3 years ago. My interests then were to be a back-end developer or a data analyst. After graduating from school, I have managed to find a job as a back-end developer. 3 years in, I am currently thinking of doing a career switch, from back-end developer to a data analyst. Just wanted to find out whether if I were to apply for the role, do I have to request for a fresh grad pay, or can I still ask for my current pay (you know, people always say 'you are still in IT Sector, so your pay should still be the same')? Honestly, I think I am ok with minor pay cut, but definitely not fresh grad pay. lol
