C# is Java with sex appeal: LINQ is the best thing since sliced bread. Arrow functions are super neat, no cancerous functional interfaces. No need to learn about type erasure, since the .NET CLR *doesn't* erase types. Top-level statements; type inference with `var`; extension methods; getters/setters are *one-worders*; so much syntactic sugar; there are struct types; one can screw around with pointer arithmetic if one so wishes to, parallelisation is easy.
